Location: Hope Island
Project Size: 135sqm
Our client here called us up a few weeks ago to have a look at a house he was building for himself in the Hope Island Golf Coast Estate. Being a builder himself, he was taking care of everything from start to finish.
We found ourselves installing a pool surrounds and patio section in plain grey concrete all ready to be tiled by others, along with a side path and driveway in exposed aggregate concrete, with these two being linked together with exposed aggregate steppers in a decorative little shape working in with the design of the house.
A relatively simply job in the end, a flat site makes a world of difference to work on. We ended up putting in some bigger steel in SL92, all chaired up throughout, along with the typical re-entry and dowel bars and abel flex.
We pumped in the pool surrounds due to access issues, then barrowed the path and steppers with a straight chute on the driveway.
This job came up excellent and we’ll return Monday to saw cut the control joints and complete the acid cleaning.
Our client here is a great person to deal with, very easy going and experienced in the industry, thank you for your work and we look forward to doing business with you in the future if the opportunity arrives.
