Location: Hope Island
Project Size: 145sqm (Stage 1 to Resurface Later)
Doing a lot of these stage 1 prep’s for resurfacing at a later date. It’s great to be completing new concrete works all ready for some fancy decorative sprays, refreshing that the products we use are just as popular on new works as they are on rejuvenating older areas.
So just a quick up date here because I haven’t posted for a while. I like to leave these projects for a full blog entry until they are completely finished, for obvious reasons, but that means fewer articles and my SEO provider doesn’t like fewer articles…so here I am writing about a semi complete project.
This, I must admit, has been a tricky one so far. Given the areas have tight access and were full of bushes and pavers and other random things to make our life miserable, it has been a battle just getting to concrete stage that we have now finished.
Add onto this torrential rain that we received last week, which in turn saw us with 15m.cub of concrete sitting in the barrels and a pump that couldn’t push it, having to send those trucks away to get two new fresh ones there, then having that new concrete go off like a freaking rocket….man today was hard! But the boys dug deep, put in the extra miles needed and we got our canvas all laid and ready for us to return in a few weeks and apply what I’m calling, a “mid ground semi sandstone finish”, trying to find a middle price range between a standard design and our full custom resurfacing pricing.
Thanks to our patient clients so far getting to this stage, at least you don’t have sand, pavers and mud to deal with anymore, just a little more patience and you’re lovely Hope Island home will look amazing! See you soon.
