Combining Experience with Artistic Flair
A double edged sword. We’ve worked so hard and so long to be in a position with our business to have a solid backbone and the experience to provide our customers with first class quality and service, yet, consider ourselves just as lucky to be able to branch out and combine our love for art and flamboyance into our everyday work place. We truly are blessed to do what we do. We love, what we do.
This page is dedicated to our custom designs, from concrete installations to epoxy flooring and of course our specialty, concrete overlay resurfacing. It’s a bit of a long page, I’ve got each design on here with a little back ground into it, I thank you in advance for having the patience to read through it.
Just remember too, with all of our custom works, nothing is set in “concrete” (corny I know). Everything custom we do is customisable further….we love designing, get me thinking, you’ll be suprised what concoction we come up with.
Make sure you keep up with our Instagram where we upload most of our new works.
Concrete Overlay Resurfacing
Natural Stone Designs
Our Natural Stone designs have been perfected over many years and installations, fine tuning each component of blending to create a truly unique, multi tone blended piece of workmanship that lends itself well naturally as a stone appearance. Here are a few examples in our Sandstone toning, as well as our Hamptons toning in the French grey. I have also provided the base colours of other tones we can work with in this design, all the way from Sandstone to a really natural, Fossil brown toning. Basically, if you’re interested in our Natural Stone designs, an onsite meeting is performed where we go through our colours in depth to get some really nice flows working with your existing property.
To the right are the base colour tones that can be used in our Natural Stone finish. These colour bases are relatively strict, as there are only a finite number of sister colours I can work with for the blending. They range from deeper brown tones, down through the mid tone greys and back to a great sandstone starter. They are as follows:
Left to right:
Fossil (Tree bark brown)
Shale (Mid grey leaning to brown)
French (Mid grey leaning to blue)
Sand (Sandstone Base)
Artistic Flow Designs
These designs are where we delve into the somewhat crazier side of me. I have a little finicky creator monster inside my head that loves to be let free on the concrete canvas and create some truly unique and one of a kind pieces of art. They are more flamboyant, creative and with a little freedom, I have completed some wonderful installations, if I can say that with the upmost modesty intended. You’ll probably have to have a little bit of a wild side that likes to poke it’s head out from time to time, but if you are someone who can sit back and admire something that is more directed to artistic freedom, as opposed to standard and natural, then lets talk more about what we can create together for your home. It doesn’t take much to get my brain running free, kick start the idea and we’ll come up with something amazing.
Stone Skip Trowel
These designs are completely hand applied. Knee pads, trowels and know how. It’s a multi layered overlay texture finished to appear as realistically like stone or cut tiles as we can make it. It can be coloured either exuberantly as you can see in a photo below from one of our customers, or as mild as the Shale Grey photo with just a single colour. This design is best with a water based stain and looks amazing with a Saxon Brown wash throughout (coming soon to the photos). These designs are completely custom per customer, so no two are the same.
Metallic Epoxy Flooring
Never The Same...Twice
Every single metallic epoxy floor installation is unique. We don’t have any particular, named designs in this field. Everything we do with epoxy is a one off piece of artistic flair, utilising colours and themes to match a feeling of the install location and desired effect. Here are some examples of what we’ve acheived so far.
Custom Concrete Installations
Mixing Things Up
Customising your concrete into something artistic, like anything else, is just a matter of mixing and combining several different application methods and doing something different…something outside the box…something that doesn’t look like your neighbours driveway. Again, all of this work is customised and we don’t have any named designs, just pieces that we’re proud of.
