Combining Experience with Artistic Flair
A double edged sword. We’ve worked so hard and so long to be in a position with our business to have a solid backbone and the experience to provide our customers with first class quality and service, yet, consider ourselves just as lucky to be able to branch out and combine our love for art and flamboyance into our everyday work place. We truly are blessed to do what we do. We love, what we do.
This page is dedicated to our custom designs, from concrete installations to epoxy flooring and of course of specialty, concrete overlay resurfacing. It’s a bit of a long page, I’ve got each design on here with a little back ground into it, I thank you in advance for having the patience to read through it.
Just remember too, with all of our custom works, nothing is set in “concrete” (corny I know). Everything custom we do is customisable further….we love designing, get me thinking, you’ll be suprised what concoction we come up with.
Concrete Overlay Resurfacing
Desert Dreams is our “Sandstone” inspired, artistic version of natural stone. It can be modified through several different over tones, from the brown orientated “Almond” through to more a more pastel feel in “Sandy Beige”. We think it shines best in an offset tile formation, but as with all our designs, can be modified into any of the other patterns shown in examples here.
Stormy Skies is the culmination of several years of fiddling with blue tone greys, initially being installed for a water / pond feel for a property at Robina, finishing in our more recent installations lending itself to a feeling of intensity through contrast design in a cloudy, dark sky formation.
Stockholm Stone is a design that’s been in the works a while now. We have been waiting for the right tones of grey / blue to make this design work. Our supplier came through recently with a new “French Grey” and we pulled the trigger and this is what we came out with. Just waiting now to implement this on some clients concrete canvas’s and we’ll get some in action photos up instead of watertank workshop photos.
Rising Sun is the next in line for our Weekend Watertank Workshop. FEEL….The Animals “House of the Rising Sun” double hand bitch slapped by Nick Cave and his “Red Right Hand” spilling forth combustable properties of tensions from our modern world, screamed into being by heavily contrasted red, black and white portrayals of defiance. This one is my design. Camilla says don’t do it, it won’t be popular. Popular is for movie stars, I march to my own drums.
Metallic Epoxy Flooring
Never The Same...Twice
Every single metallic epoxy floor installation is unique. We don’t have any particular, named designs in this field. Everything we do with epoxy is a one off piece of artistic flair, utilising colours and themes to match a feeling of the install location and desired effect. Here are some examples of what we’ve acheived so far.
Custom Concrete Installations
Mixing Things Up
Customising your concrete into something artistic, like anything else, is just a matter of mixing and combining several different application methods and doing something different…something outside the box…something that doesn’t look like your neighbours driveway. Again, all of this work is customised and we don’t have any named designs, just pieces that we’re proud of.
